Snow came over at last on Thursday, it looked nice in the garden.
For the mimosa, it didn't look so good, I have needed to shake it...
With sun, it whould have been beautiful (you know, people are always complaining)
To find snow in UK, Penines are not the only place to go. In the Midlands, there has been snow in Derby at the end of December, but it was in 2005...
Last weekend, elsewhere at 1900 m, snow seemed to be there, but it was limited to the north-facing slope of the mountain and most of it was artificial.
At the same place, on the south-facing slope of the mountain, snow guns didn't look very useful, snow was much higher on the summit 1000 m above.
If you really want snow, better have it inside your computer ! Try the sofware below...
Last summer, the snow was at the top of the mountains, but there wasn't much. Do you see it ?
End of november in Moscow, snow should have been there, but there wasn't any. Don't you think St Vasil's cathedral would have looked better with a blanket of snow ?
